Aims And Purposes of UPSILON PHI SIGMA |
1. UPSILON PHI SIGMA shall serve as the unifying factor for the students and professionals for closer and lasting relationship.
2. UPSILON PHI SIGMA shall develop every human potential in the individual for leadership.
3. It promotes Brotherhood and Sisterhood service to the school to the community and country as a whole.
4. It encourages academic excellence.

PREAMBLE

We, the Upsilonians, imploring the aid of the Divine Providence in order to foster and lasting relationship among ourselves, to promote constructive and effective leadership, to uphold opportunity to serve the mother country, to secure ourselves to the Universal Brotherhood / Sisterhood and to dedicate ourselves to the ideals of Filipino Manhood through cultural, economic and social activities, do hereby ordain and promulgate this constitution.

| If you work for a man in heaven's name, work for him, speak well of his and stand by the institution he represents. Remember an ounce of loyalty is worth a pound of cleverness; if you must grow condemned, and eternally find fault, why resign your position; and while you are outside down to your heart's content. But as long as you are part of the institution do not condemn it, for if you do the first high wind that will come along will blow you away, and probably you will never know why. |
| REQUIREMENTS FOR MEMBERSHIP: TO JOIN UPS (1935) |
• Must be a college student
• Believe in God
• Be of good character and reputation
• Never been convicted of any crime
• Never been petitioned/been rejected/neophyte of other fraternities
